Wolf Schenke has lived on the west coast of British Columbia since he was a young boy. He started painting in 2003. He is currently a member of the Burnaby Artist Guild and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
He is an award winning painter who has been exhibited in numerous Juried Art Shows in British Columbia. He has sold works in Canada and the United States.
His painting "Cowichan River" was a finalist in International Artist Magazine's Landscape competition and later he was a featured artist in the magazine’s August/September 2009 edition #68. His article “Technological Perspective” discusses many aspects of digital technology as applied to assisting the creation of the artist’s vision.
His painting techniques, methods and goals have rapidly evolved and the resulting stylistic variation is apparent. He enjoys painting both outside an in his studio.
